Review and Report on the Related Party Transactions

Related party transaction refers to a deal or arrangement made between two parties who are joined by a preexisting business relationship or common interest. Companies often seek business deals with parties with whom they are familiar or have a common interest.

The reporting enterprise should disclose the following:

  • The name of the transacting related party;
  • A description of the relationship between the parties;
  • A description of the nature of transactions;
  • Volume of the transactions either as an amount or a part thereof.
